Fluctuating Normal Hunger Cues? // Eating Disorder Recovery

Today I want to talk about fluctuating normal hunger cues since I see that many of my clients face this concern in their recovery. They often ask me – “Why do I feel sometimes so hungry and then less hungry? Is something still wrong with my hunger?”

I also had this dilemma once I was fully recovered and saw that my hunger cues are not the same every day. Sometimes I felt like I could eat a lot, sometimes I felt not interested in food much at all. Why does this fluctuation happen? Is it normal?

In today’s video, I will talk about why this happens and what to do about it.

The main thing what I see people going through recovery after years of food rules and diet mindset is the idea of:

Eating less = good

Eating more = bad

And this is the primary reason why we worry about things like these in the first place!
